I am a pediatric physician-scientist with expertise in cell signaling, gene therapy, biomarkers, and the clinical development of novel treatments for rare metabolic and neurological diseases.  I have over 25 years of experience in academic, biotech and pharmaceutical industry settings.

I have led teams responsible for key aspects of the clinical development of 4 marketed drugs, mostly recently as a VP in the Rare Diseases Unit at GlaxoSmithKline.  Prior to that I worked at Amicus Therapeutics and Bristol Myers Squibb and was a faculty member at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. I currently work as an independent consultant.

I obtained my PhD in Pharmacology and MD from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC and completed my residency in Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
