I am a Senior Consultant in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit and lead clinician for neurocritical care in Trauma Surgery Section at Hamad General Hospital.
After completing my basic medical training in the UK, I completed my specialist training in intensive care medicine in 2003. I have also completed advanced training in neurocritical care at Cambridge University Hospitals.
I was appointed as consultant in adult critical care medicine at Royal London Hospital in 2005.
In 2007, I was also appointed as a Hon senior lecturer in the Queen Mary University of London in the centre of neuro and trauma sciences. I joined Trauma surgery Section in Hamad General Hospital in 2018.
My main area of clinical and research interest is in Neuroscience.
